Self Portrait vs Selfie

1.A selfie is just a photo that you take of yourself.Selfies are usually taken with a personal device like a smart phone. Selfies are much more popular then the term Self Portrait,and considerably more used and taken. Selfies are very big in the social media world and terms. Self portraits are a lot more artistic and nice. A lot more time goes into self portraits and they date back a lot longer ago, the camera quality and angles are more detailed and better.

There is a big difference in the two as self portraits usually carry a lot more importance and are just more detailed in general. Selfies are more quantity over quality.I prefer selfies a lot more then self portraits because selfies are a lot more easier to take and can be shared a lot more easily. Viewing selfies is more interesting to me over viewing old self portraits. Selfies have more to do with the younger group of people over the older group of people.

I could easily say that self portraits are more valuable then selfies. The reason that self portraits are more valuable is because of the simple fact that if you look back in time you can see that a lot of the greatly known people that are known today, are in a lot of famous self portraits that can be very old.Selfies will still hold importance but not anywhere near as important as self portraits.

Phobia Project

1.A phobia is a condition a person has in which they are terrificd of a certain thing that they go to great lengths to avoid and want nothing to do with it.

-Somniphobia: The fear of going to sleep/ sleep in general.

-Scotophobia: The fear of darkness.

-Testophobia: The fear of taking tests.

-Pedophobia: The fear of children.

-Ranidaphobia: The Fear of frogs. The sight of a frog in its natural habitat can be considered as an omen to some people and is culturally bad to them. It is also known that touching some frogs will give you warts on hands.

C. While brainstorming for my 3 photos that I'm going to choose i thought about a few things that could possibly make the cut for the list.

 I thought of modeling a friend thats a guy and having him run away from his very small dog that could be used to example the fear of dogs and animals in general which i actually see a lot. 
Other idea i could see is taking a picture of a friend sitting inside playing video games and having that be an example for the fear of outdoors and going outside.Another idea that i can see is me taking a picture of a dark room and have someone running out of it for the fear of darkness with them holding a terrified face.Another good photo could be someone sitting at a table with books and papers all around them in a circle for the fear of tests and have them studying hard. A last idea could be a friend hovering above dark water for the fear of it.

My Holiday

1.Over my holiday break, i got to go to my great grandmothers lake house in Marble Falls for Christmas. I have been there many times and i love going, her home is huge and is right on the lake. We always bring are rods and go fishing on her piers and try to catch the big catfish that live on the lake with a secret bait we use. She loves when we visit as she lives all alone.

2.My resolutions for the year can include having all good grades, seeing my friends even more then I already do, and making more money i can save.

3. A big thing i can look forward to in 2017 can include my big trip to Barcelona. I also look forward to seeing more family.

Athlete Simon Biles is named the AP Female Athlete of the year after her crazy term in the olympics. She has a very interesting background and a crazy life story overall. If you haven't heard of her you would have to be living under a rock. She is a very strong persistent girl and thats why i like her.

The biggest headline this year would have to be the rivalry between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton in the fight for presidency. Donald Trump has won although it will still be the biggest headline. People everywhere would hear about voting and different crazy things that happened at rallies and who was on whose side.

Chill Bill is a song by Rob Stone that talks about his life  and  his situation with a female. To me this song is the best one because anytime you hear the whistle that starts off the song, everyone knows it and its just a song to listen to at a party or with some friends. 

The movie dead pool is a movie about a bad super hero hit man that is very funny and rude, a comedy movie with  a lot of action scenes and a jaw dropping opening. The movie had a gross of 300 million dollars which was 5 times the production cost. It is the number one rated r movie of the month of febuarury. It is the best to me because i just have good memories of me and friends watching it and laughing the whole way through.

Donald Trump is the upcoming president and has had a very interesting known background. Not even being completely president yet, donald trump has had a huge impact on a very large number of peoples lives.Although i have very mixed emotions toward him, i would still have to say he is the most important person today and of the year.

My 3 Favorite Photos

In this photo, you can see a very stuffed room with men sleeping within a few inches of each other.The story behind this photo is that a basketball court meant for a max of 800 people, was now a sleeping ground for 3,800 inmates in manila, philippines. This is one of my favorite pictures because it really shows how other people do things in other countries and i find it very interesting.

In this picture you can see a lot of fireworks in the nights sky as it is the  new year in Rio. The reason i like this photo so much is because it only makes me want to be there so badly. I can see myself spending my new year in the same position as that girl in the warm water at night.

This picture shows astronaut Scott Kelly as he is helped up after landing from a one year space trip.
This is a very important picture to me because i find space travel fascinating and i could only imagine experiencing it. It is crazy he made it there and back in one piece smiling.
